Barry M's Strawberry Icecream 309 Nail Paint

Fern suggested that I should do a NOTW post using this nail paint but I have recently cut my nails short (By cut I mean bit :P) so it wouldn't look all that good (I will when my nails get a wee bit longer). But I thought I'd show you 'swatches'. My index finger nail has three coats and the rest have one. As you can see it is quite sheer but whether it has one coat or three, the colour is gorgeous. I also think that one coat would be a great base for a pink toned french manicure :)

Blue and Green should never be seen

I don't understand why people say this because blue and green look good together. I always wear blue and green so if someone does think this statement is true, they must get reaaal annoyed with me.
There are some colours I would NEVER wear together and when I see someone wearing both, I cringe. The obvious ones being pink and red and I also don't like red and brown together. Some people also don't like clashing colours like blue with orange, purple with red etc but I personally like them together as their bright and stand out.
I've just rambled, sorry guys!
Anywhoooooo...

Here's an example of how gorgeous the two colours look together (In my opinion). This is my Ebay bracelet, similar to a Pandora but a lotttt cheaper. I've had many compliments on the beaut since wearing it (Even a teacher and a woman I've never spoken to before noticed it and said how pretty it was). The clasp says Pandora which is annoying because I'm not trying to make it look like a Pandora, just my own customised bracelet. I might buy another bracelet where the clasp is blank, then my bracelet can be a 'Louise' bracelet instead of a cheap rip-off aha.
And yes that is a frog bead! So cute! .. I ordered quite a few more of those as well hehe

Two New Additions

Strawberry Ice cream 309 and Pure Turquoise 295
(Cute background is a folder from Tesco's, because I know your all interested ;P)

On offer 2 for £5 (£2.95 each when offer does not apply)

I wanted Baby Pink but unfortunately my Superdrug have none at the moment so I opted for Strawberry Ice cream. From initial swatches, Strawberry Ice cream is slightly more sheer than the other Barry M nail paints I have. The other ones in my collection only need 1-2 coats whereas this one needs 3. The colour is the ultimate little girl pink in my opinion.
Might pick up some more tomorrow... hehe

Charm Bracelet!

My dad put the charms on! Ok so, my nan used to collect charms for my mum when she was a wee lass *cough* I mean a young girl (wee lass was stuck in my head for some reason so I had to say it!), but never was able to attach the charms to the bracelet as it was 'chunky' and she didn't get round to taking it to the jewellers. My nan then kept the charms (I don't know why my mum didn't have them, they both probably forgot about them.) and yeaaaars later gave them to me. They stayed in their box for a while as we couldn't afford to get them put on to the bracelet but then I found another sterling silver charm bracelet to attach them to.

Clockwise starting at '12o'clock': Rocking horse, well, heart lock, fairy, book (the book opens to reveal a worm! 'bookworm' - it's so cute!), padington bear, heart lock from the old chain, fruit basket, padington bear, turtle and dog.
There are two padington bears because my nan bought my mum one back when she was collecting them and she got me another one last year. I guess she forgot that I already had that charm but it's pretty cool that their still making the same charms and that I have an old and a new one. The old one is much more detailed, maybe because they wasn't mass produced back then and took more care when creating them?
My nan also bought me the rocking horse and the turtle (That's why their 'shinier', because their the new ones) :)

I want to have the chain filled with charms!

Aussie - 3 minute miracle reconstructor deep conditioner, miracle hair insurance leave-in conditioner and heat protection leave-in spray reviews

THESE SMELL AMAZING! I cannot stop smelling my hair! To me the products smell like apricot yoghurt/sherbet.
I bought these when on offer 2 for £5 and also Superdrug are selling them for around £3 each so the price wasn't a problem for me. I've just looked on the Boots website and each product is £3.59-£4.59 so I would definitely recommend buying these from Superdrug.

"Our unique formula, with Safflower Seed Oil, helps mend split ends and roughened cuticles. It helps transform dry, damaged hair into manageable and shiny locks in just 3 minutes."

Great conditioner and I have noticed my hair feeling and looking healthier. If the price is a little too expensive for you, try Superdrug's or Boots' own brand deep conditioners for a few pounds as they also do a great job.

"Our Aussie formula, with a drop of Australian jojoba seed oil, helps detangle and protect, smells lush, is a must for the beach, makes styling easier, and... sorry were rambling now, it's just we think it's really great stuff."

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Ok so normally, my hair is very soft as I use a deep conditioner every day and a leave-in conditioner at night. When trying a new conditioning product, it doesn't do much for my hair as it is already as soft as it can be. Well this product has took my hair to a whole new conditioned level! It leaves my hair unbelievably soft and my hands literally fall through my hair. Before this I was using Boots' own brand leave-in conditioning sprays and although great, they do not compare to this. This product is a little more expensive (£1-£2 more) than the Boots' leave-in conditioners BUT you get double the amount of product (Boots' are only 125ml) and it is so much more conditioning.

"Our styling formula, with Australian jojoba seed oil, is a double whammy in a bottle. Not only does it help you get that mirror smooth style, it helps guard your hair from the heat-styling implements you use to create it. Leaving hair soft and beautifully controlled. How neat is that?"

It is hard to review a heat protection product as you don't know whether it is actually protecting. It does feel like other heat protecting products when in the hair and dries quick. It also leaves my hair manageable for styling and gives it a nice shine.

Overall, I really recommend Aussie products and cannot wait to try out the other products they have to offer. (I would re-purchase just for the smell :P)

Earrings

I haven't got many as last year I had a clear out, but here's what's left!
Earrings holders from eBay, 2 for £1..something

(Left to right, top to bottom) Turquoise flower drop earrings - Accessorize, Anchor studs - Accessorize, Gold and blue long floral earrings - Accessorize, Silver butterfly dangle earrings - Claires, Silver flower drop earrings - Avon, Silver pearl drop earrings - Accessorize, Dragonfly drop earrings - Avon, Butterfly oval drop earrings - Avon.

Silver 'L' studs - Accessorize, Antique chandelier earrings with green beads - Present from a holiday, Diamanté flower earrings - Newlook, Pink and green bead dangle earrings (near the bottom) - Handmade gifts, Pearl stud earrings - Primark.

Teal tear drop earrings - Present, Teal shell star earrings - Present from holiday.

The earring holders are quite small so I am going to fill a glass with glitter/beads and then place my earrings around the top of the rim. I've seen this done on a few blogs and it looks really pretty. The studs can then stay on my current holders.
