ASOS Paints

Who's tired of hearing about the ASOS sale yet? Not me!
The ASOS Paints were £1 down from £6! First of all I only ordered two because the other colours were out of stock, but then I checked back a few days later and they were back! So here are the first two I ordered and the other four should arrive in a few days :)

Lauren and Olivia.

Top to bottom: Lauren, Olivia, Barry M's Pure Turquoise.

The formulation is great; smooth, non streaky and great colour pay off with 1-2 coats. I've read that a couple people think the formulation is too thick? I think Barry M Nail Paints are thicker and I know a lot of people love the formulation of them!

Tesco Beauty Freebies

http://www.tesco-yourbeauty.com/ regularly have freebies to give away and all you have to do is sign up and answer a few questions.
A lot of people have received a mascara which doesn't sound that impressive so I was surprised when I opened the envelope to find a nail polish. Tesco have accidentally sent me two packages so I received two polishes, and luckily in two different shades!

They're gorgeous:

Velvet and Shock. Both 11ml.
Velvet is hard to describe but I'll try my best: Shimmery bronze with red and mauve undertones.
Shock: Red with a lot of purple and fuchsia undertones.

Here are some swatches: (Quickly applied to nails, that's why they're a little messy.)

All you need is one coat, but I always do two out of habit.
These are perfect Autumn/Winter shades and I cannot wait to use them so look out for a few nail posts with these bad boys in!
It's Tesco so I doubt these will be expensive :)

Someday Summary

This week has gone fast! Was going to do this tomorrow but I'm busy and couldn't wait until Sunday! Friday is still the weekend :P

A purchase from the week:
7 ASOS nail paints- Most of the colours were re stocked and for a pound I couldn't resist! Colours I ordered were: Orange, Blue, Pink, Purple, Green, Red and Wine Red (Hopefully perfect for Winter.)
I also went to Asda earlier (I love going food shopping!) and got a travel mug (To keep your drinks hot) for £2! and a nice big box of chocolates for my friends birthday... £2.25! Crazy right? Oh and I bought some skin coloured tights and a tube of fake blood for Halloween :)

A high point from the week:
I won Onemorelipstick's MAC give away! I've chosen Shroom eye shadow and Angel lipstick :)

A low point from the week:
Hmmm I'm pretty happy at the moment so can't remember. I have bad skin though!

Weekend plans:
Saturday: Drinks around a friends and then were heading to an 18th birthday party!
Sunday: Recovering haha!

We heart it photos:

Have a good weekend! :)

Collection 2000's Sparkle Top Coat

I couldn't get a good quality photo of the bottle today but I will upload it right *here* when I get one :)
I love Collection 2000's nail care varnishes and even more so at just £2.49 each :)
You can wear this alone or over another colour and as the sparkle/shimmer particles are finely milled, it looks beautiful either way.

Here is three coats on my bare nails:

Bad quality but it shows you how it looks at certain angles.

Isn't it beautiful?
I'm not keen on glitter polishes as they can easily look tacky so this subtle sparkle is perfect.

Busy Bee Candles Review

I love candles. I love the variety of shapes, sizes and scents they come in and the flames are so relaxing to watch.

Busy Bee Candles is a company that, if you haven't already guessed from the name, sells candles.

They offer a wide range of scents to suit everyone's needs and the ones I want to try are all of the fruity ones, Vanilla Dream, Shortbread, Fresh Coffee and Fresh Bread (Fresh Bread sounds amazing!)

One useful aspect to the website is the Fragrance Strength Rating. Each candle's scent strength is rated out of 10, with 10 being the strongest. I think this is a great idea as everyone prefers different strengths of fragrance.

Busy Bees also provide a large variety of sizes, from tea lights to jumbo, 2 wick candles.

The prices are very reasonable, with the most expensive candle (Jumbo, two wick) being £15.95. The jumbo candle burns for around 100-130 hours so you definitely get your moneys worth!

The packaging is simple, just what I like, with each candle in a glass jar.

Also, the candle is filled to the top, giving you as much product as possible.

The scent I got sent (haha!) was Baby Powder:
Baby Powder is Busy Bee's best selling fragranced candle and smells exactly like baby powder. Personally, I'm not keen on the smell because I like my fruit/sweet fragrances.

Because the scent is spot on to the name of the candle, I'm eager to try other scents available (Yes I'm thinking of Fresh Bread, Shortbread and Vanilla Dream!)

I think these candles will make great presents and I'm putting a few on my Christmas wish list!

Again, here is the website: Busy Bee Candles, go have a little look :)

Barry M Strawberry Ice cream 309

The formula is quite sheer needing 3 coats but the colour is beautiful, don't you think?
