Squeaky Green shampoo bar £5 - I won my local Lush's Facebook competition, so I was allowed to choose a shampoo bar for free. Initially, the competition was to win a henna block, so I told them I didn't want a prize because I wouldn't use it, and just wanted to guess the figure they were after. They then said I could choose a shampoo bar instead, which was very nice of them. I've wanted to try one of their shampoo bars for a while. I was going to go with Seanik, but I didn't know if the salt would be too harsh on my hair, so settled with this one. It is made with freshly cut nettles, rosemary, and peppermint herbs, so no wonder it smells so fresh.
You've Been Mangoed bath melt £2.95 - I don't have baths, but I do like to soak my feet, and I think bath melts will make them incredibly soft. Because a foot soak doesn't require much water, I'm going to cut this in to 4 chunks. It smells amazing! I wish Lush would bring out more mango scented products... and lime ones, mmm.
Melting Marshmallow Moment £3.75 - This bath melt is more expensive because it's a lot bigger (100g!). I'm going to divide it in to about 6 chunks. Imagine the sweetest, girliest scent you can - This is that scent.
Vanilla Puff dusting powder £4.50 - The bottle looks very small, but it holds a lot of product, so this should last me ages. I wear vanilla perfume, so I think a sprinkle of this on my skin will compliment it well. I'm also going to use it as a dry shampoo.
My Each Peach massage bar also arrived from eBay, and I love it. It smells like sherbet. It retails for £5.25, but because of the £5 eBay voucher code that was going around the internet a few weeks ago, I only paid 75p, including delivery (technically, I didn't pay anything because I used my dad's account, hehe). I've been using it on my elbows and knees, and it works a treat!
I need to pick up a new Lush Shampoo Bar... I had one a couple of years ago and loved it but for some reason just didn't repurchase. I took a sniff of the You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt whilst I was in Lush a couple of weeks ago and thought that it smelt divine! :)

I'm liking mine so far :) I don't think they're going to replace my usual shampoos, but I'd like to use them every now and again. Doesn't it just?! I really want Lush to bring out more mango scented products! x
DeleteI'm really intrigued by the bars that Lush do - haven't got around to trying them yet.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they're a great, and fairly unique, concept :)
DeleteI don't think I have used any of LUSH bath melts but I seem to be continuously disappointed by their bath bombs so I try to stick with their bubble bars instead. I have reviewed NEW! Shampoo Bar some times ago and I absolutely love it! I was also interested in Seanik but it's not recommended for dyed hair. I agree, Melting Marshmallow Moment smells sooooooooo amazing!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not a bath bomb girl and much prefer their bubble bars, too. The shampoo bar is working well for me so far; I'm really pleased!
DeleteThe Melting Marshmallow Moment and the You've Been Mangoed must smeel so delicious! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, they do! I used a chunk of the You've Been Mangoed in a foot soak last night and it smelt amazing! I didn't want to throw the water away! x
