Avon Sonal Flower Umbrella £10. "You're not supposed to put umbrellas up inside! It's bad luck!" I really don't care haha

I was meant to be on a spending ban this month, but then I realised that I would just buy the stuff I wanted in March anyway, so cancelled it.

I bought the H&M items with £5 off and 25% off codes. I bought the t-shirts in a S, instead of an XS, because I wanted them to be very loose fitting. I'm going to tuck them into my high waisted jeans. How cute are the zebra socks?!

New Look's jeans are currently discounted, so I bought another pair of my favourite ones. I now have three pairs. The buttons are more brassy on this pair, but I don't mind. I also couldn't resist adding some socks to my basket. Animals on socks are my weakness, I tell you.

I also ordered from Superdrug this month. The hot cloth cleanser was half price at just £2.99, and I really wanted the nail polish. There was also free delivery, which sealed the deal for me.

From Avon, I ordered three room and linen sprays for £4, and the umbrella for £8 because I needed a new one. Excuse my messy bed in the background! But how cute is it? I love it.

I've also bought some homeware bits, some H&M sprays and a couple Primark throws, but I've already blogged about them.

I've been naughty, I know, but... but... I have no justifications *hangs head in shame*

Avon Empowerment Necklace - Raising awareness and supporting domestic violence charities

On the 8th March, it is International Women's Day 2012. In celebration of this day, Alesha Dixon, Avon's Beauty and Empowerment Ambassador, is launching a new empowerment necklace*. It is priced at just £3.50 and all proceeds will go to Refuge and Women's Aid; Charities that help women who have experienced domestic violence (one in four women experience domestic violence in their lifetime, which is horrifying).
By purchasing and wearing this necklace, you will be supporting and raising awareness of these domestic violence charities.
You can purchase the necklace from here.

*PR sample. I wanted to write about this because I think it is an important cause. I will be encouraging my friends and family to purchase a necklace of their own, to help support these charities.

Earrings

I haven't got many as last year I had a clear out, but here's what's left!
Earrings holders from eBay, 2 for £1..something

(Left to right, top to bottom) Turquoise flower drop earrings - Accessorize, Anchor studs - Accessorize, Gold and blue long floral earrings - Accessorize, Silver butterfly dangle earrings - Claires, Silver flower drop earrings - Avon, Silver pearl drop earrings - Accessorize, Dragonfly drop earrings - Avon, Butterfly oval drop earrings - Avon.

Silver 'L' studs - Accessorize, Antique chandelier earrings with green beads - Present from a holiday, Diamanté flower earrings - Newlook, Pink and green bead dangle earrings (near the bottom) - Handmade gifts, Pearl stud earrings - Primark.

Teal tear drop earrings - Present, Teal shell star earrings - Present from holiday.

The earring holders are quite small so I am going to fill a glass with glitter/beads and then place my earrings around the top of the rim. I've seen this done on a few blogs and it looks really pretty. The studs can then stay on my current holders.

Avon Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencils

Last month I reviewed these here but the pictures were not very good as they were taken on my phone camera. My camera is working again so I thought I'd show you some decent pictures :)

Top to bottom: Vivacious Turquoise, Plush Purple and Burnished Bronze.

& here are the swatches. You can see that Vivacious Turquoise is slightly more pigmented and vibrant than the other two.

I wear these literally every day; mostly the blue (this has now become my everyday 'black'), purple for a more subtle look and bronze for an 'au natural' look. I wish they did a green! When I have the spare money I want to purchase Barry M's Aqua Green Intense Eyeliner Pen

Today's Make-up

Today's make-up was very neutral. My hair was also quickly tied back because I was only taking the dogs for a walk.

I hate it when the camera doesn't pick up the colours! grr, buts heres what I used (In order of the products used) :
  • Collection 2000 Complexion Perfection Concealer
  • Collection 2000 Shine Away Compact Powder
  • NYX Eyebrow Powder
  • Avon Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencil in Burnished Bronze
  • Collection 2000 Mosaic Shimmering Glow Powder
  • Collection 2000 Volume Sensation Mascara
  • No7 Perfect Lips Pencil in 20 Nude
  • Elite Repulp! Gloss in 02 Glam Nude
^ Can you tell I like Collection 2000 products? hehe

Today was one of those rare days when I wear lip products! The nude lip pencil is the only lip pencil I own so I'm looking at buying a few more because I quite like them :)

As you can not actually see the products, here are a few swatches:
Avon Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencil in Burnished Bronze, No7 Perfect Lips Pencil in 20 Nude and Elite Repulp! Gloss in 02 Glam Nude. As you can see, the two lip products are perfectly suited. The lip gloss is very pigmented and I love the colour (The only place I have seen where you can purchase this, is at superdrug.com)

In the picture above you can see I'm going slightly ginger again! Woo! I've altered the colour settings in the picture below to show you how I want my hair to be (Like it used to be.)

Avon Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencils

Hello :)
So these are £5 each and at the moment are on offer for £3 each. I actually love these! I bought the blue one last August, wore it every day, used it all up and bought another! My favourite is the blue because it makes brown eyes pop!

From top to bottom: Plush Purple, Burnished Bronze and Vivacious Turquoise. Avon also do a gold called 'Gold Mine' but I haven't got that one yet.

These look sooo much better in real life! The camera is slightly out of focus so you can not see the gorgeous sheen they have. At the bottom of the Burnished Bronze swatch you can see some shimmer/sheen where the light is reflecting off of it to give you an idea.

These pencils are really creamy, soft and last all day. They are slightly faded by the end of the day but most products fade after hours of wear, especially on the waterline!
I wear the blue every day (Boring I know, but its a gorgeous colour). The purple and bronze aren't as vibrant but still beautiful colours.

I've only just recently bought another Vivacious Turquoise, but as this is my favourite ever eye-liner/shadow I might have to buy some back-ups...

Would I recommend these? Most definitely

Shop

^ I'm replacing the word 'Haul' to 'Shop' because... well it makes more sense :)
There's been so many posts I've been wanting to do but without a camera, I can not :( A few reviews can be done by using internet photos but most require swatches and my own photos to show you the products. I'm saving up now so hopefully will have a camera soon.

Rimmel's Stay Matte Dual Action Concealer £4.99

Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection Concealer £3.99, on offer for £2.99

Collection 2000's Waterproof Longer Lash Mascara £2.99

Avon's Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencils £5 each, on offer for £3 each. I've already gone through a blue one of these and loved it so I thought I'd get every colour :) I already have a review on these but am not going to post until I have a camera because I want to show you how beautiful they look.

Reviews to come in the next week :)

AVON Solutions Pure Pore-Fection Self Foaming Cleanser

£3

First of all the packaging, its simple which I like and has a pump for the product to come out of. The pump makes it so easy to use - I can be quite lazy and normally can not be bothered to open a lid, squeeze the product out and then foam it up.

Which brings me on to my next point: Its self foaming which means I don't have to do it! Little things like that makes all the difference to me. The actual product itself is very light and when massaging in to the skin, you can barely feel its there - I sometimes leave it on while washing my hair out and forget I have it on because its so light.

The cleanser does a good job, like a cleanser should - removes dirt & makeup and my skin does feel fresh & clean. Its hard for me to tell if a product reduces shine on my skin but I think this product does make a difference.

Over all: I really like this product :) I will be re purchasing this as well as Avon's Anew 2 in 1 cleanser as they are the best cleansers I have used. Hats off to Avon :)

Avon Haul & New Phone

Solutions Pure Pore-Fection Self-Foaming Cleanser £1.50, Solutions Plus Total Radiance Skin Refining Clay Mask £1.50, Glazewear Dimensions Lipstick in Nude Gold and Sequins Pink £4.50 each, Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Iced Coffee £3.25.

From top to bottom: Iced Coffee, Iced Coffee blended out, Sequins Pink, Nude Gold.

I've just sent the lipsticks back because Iced Coffee isn't my kind of colour and Nude Gold & Sequins Pink are not that pigmented. Plus I hardly ever wear lip products and regret getting them!

I can not wait to try out the cleanser and clay mask - reviews will be coming up :)

I also got a new phone today: Samsung Genio Touch. This phone comes with my contract and is known as the budget touch phone for young teenagers. I agree, this phone is cheap and will appeal to the younger market as you can change the back of the phone to different colours. It is quite a good phone so far and I don't mind that it only has a 2mp camera because I don't use the cameras on phones. If this phone had a better camera, it would be absolutely amazing for people who do use them. I have changed the back cover to black because I only like black sleek phones.

I read some reviews on this phone but you can not really go by these as this phone only came out last month so no one can properly review it. The main things said about this phone is the price and camera. Someone also said that the speaker isn't very loud? They can not be more wrong - its really loud!

So far, I reaaaally like this phone! I think it should be a lot more expensive than its price tag.

Anew 2 in 1 Cleanser - Review

I know I know, its another product from Avon. But I love their products & plus I have no money at the moment so I'm doing some reviews.

Anew 2 in 1 Cleanser. This is £7 but as I've said before, Avon always have offers going on so you should be able to get it cheaper.
So basically all your do is wet your face, rub the product in your hands so it creates a lather and dissolves the blue beads, massage on to face & then wash off.

Avon's description: 'Energize skin and fight the signs of aging while you cleanse! Innovative 2-in-1 cleanser/toner deep-cleans pores, while it energizes dull, fatigued skin. Micro-spheres burst on application to release skin-enhancing ingredients. Cools, refreshes, and purifies your complexion every day. Skin looks less lined, more radiant.'

This wakes your skin up, makes it feel fresh and your skin feels brand new. It feels as though your face is glowing. Use this in the shower in the morning and you'll soon be awake. I really do love this cleanser :)

Avon Haul & Review

Arabian Glow Clearly Shadowed Eye Pencil - Vivacious Turquoise. The pictures are from the internet as I couldn't get the right lighting!
The pigmentation of this pencil is amazing. It glides on so smooth, is very creamy and when I rubbed my finger over it, the colour didn't just disappear. So far I am in love with this pencil and want to buy the others!

Make Me Wonder & Fire Me Up perfumes. These are my two new favourite fragrances.

Make Me Wonder is a harmony of floral and fruity notes including raspberry, blackberry, violet & vanilla. Avon describe this perfume as "Discover the secrets of Californian berries entwined with violet and rich vanilla bean...totally captivating. Oriental, fruity."

Avon describe Fire Me Up as being fruity and gourmand which is very accurate. They also describe using this scent as "Experience luscious ruby red pomegranate spiked with bold black cherry and the sensuality of amber..."

^ Sound scrumptious don't they? Oh they are.
(The packaging of these bottles are so cute! I love the colours)

Joanna bag. I love this bag as I'm an organised moo & this has so many cute pockets! You can just fit A4 sized things into the bag without the zip doing up so that should give you a clue on how big it is.

Avon Goodies

£1.50
Silver flower earrings - I think their cute :)

£3 - Normally £6
Pedicure 4 in 1. Including a file similar to 'Pedegg', Sponge, Pumice stone & Foot file.

£3 - Normally £5
Glimmersticks Brow Definer in Dark Brown.
Its nothing to do with the product its self, because the product works fine, but I am thinking of sending this back simply because I look weird with my eyebrows defined. Either this or I'm just not used to them looking different!

Hope your all doing well :)

Avon Lipsticks

These are my favourite lipsticks & can not wait to buy more!
The first one is Avon Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick & the colour I have is Frozen Rose:
This colour is like a dusky pink with gold reflects. This shade is a neutral colour so will suit any skin tone ( Avon also say so ). The normal price for this is £6.50. This goes on smoothly, feels really creamy and just feels amazing to wear. This just adds that little more pigmentation to your lips with a gorgeous shimmer effect...

The second lipstick is Ultra Colour Rich Mousse Lipstick SPF15. I have this in Delicate pink:
My camera has died so these images are from the internet, the colour of the lipstick above is not Delicate pink. Here is an Image of what the colour looks like:

This colour is basically a toned down pink and is also a neutral shade so any ages can wear this colour. I love love love this! Again it is creamy, moisturising and you do not need to wear a gloss over this lipstick because it already looks as if your wearing one. The SPF15 is a bonus and the 'moisturising core' really does seem to work. The normal price for this lipstick is £7.

The prices I have gave you won't really matter because Avon always have deals on like '2 for £8' or 'Spend £15 and get a free handbag' so the overall prices which you pay for their products work out really cheap.

I defiantly recommend Avon's lipsticks. :)
