Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Body Wash

Soap & Glory is a brand raved about a lot, but I've never been that interested in it. I think it's because I find their signature scent a little boring, and their prices are more than what I'm used to paying. However, I smelt this and instantly wanted it. It smells like lime cheesecake! I wasn't willing to pay £6.50, though, so used my Boots Advantage Card points. The packaging is great, the scent is amazing, and it's fairly moisturising, so I'm glad I got it. I don't know if I'd get it again, though, because £6.50 is a lot for a shower gel. You do get 500ml of product, but that's the same amount as Treacle Moon's bottles, and they're only £2.99. I suppose you could buy this when there's a 3 for 2 offer, or buy it as a treat now and again.

Since buying this, I've also bought the Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk, which I'll be reviewing soon! It was £7, but I don't mind spending more on cleansers. I just have an issue with spending more than £3-4 on a shower gel that ultimately does the same as my £1 ones! If the scent is good enough, though... (I'm a sucker for a good smelling product!)

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel

Photobucket

The scent of a product is an important factor for me, especially with shower gels. With that in mind, let me introduce you to my new favourite shower gel! It smells delicious. Think of fresh, juicy peaches and you're there. It smells even better once it's lathered up too. It serves its purpose of cleaning my body, but that's not why I would repurchase it, if I'm honest! It's all about the heavenly scent. I don't know if I'll be able to keep my hands off of the bottle I bought my mum for Mother's Day...
It's normally £4, but I bought it for £2 in the sale (which is still going on). I don't think I would pay full price for it, but that's the same for all of The Body Shop products because there's usually a generous discount code floating around the internet.
The Vineyard Peach products were/are in the sale with the Christmas scents and I heard that they're limited edition. I really hope this isn't true! I would buy the body butter, but I have so many tubs already. I can justify buying shower gel because I use it every day, but I rarely moisturise (naughty, I know), and I've been using body oils if I do.

Have you tried any of the Vineyard Peach products? If so, do you love the scent just as much as I do?

Treacle Moon

Treacle Moon Iced Strawberry Dream* (Limited edition), One Ginger Morning and Those Lemonade Days shower gels. £2.99 for 500ml.

Treacle Moon products are available exclusively in Tesco stores, and I always have a look at them while adding essentials to the trolley.

Iced Strawberry Dream, which is being released this month and will be in stores nationwide by June, has been created by fans. Fans can submit suggestions for new fragrances and front of pack 'fairy tale stories' on the Treacle Moon website. Then, the suggestions are placed on their Facebook page, where the Facebook community decide what suggestions they like best by answering surveys, polls and trying testers of the products. Treacle Moon are hoping to bring out a new product shaped by fans twice a year. I genuinely think this is a fantastic idea, and something I will be participating in myself.

On to the limited edition product! Iced Strawberry Dream smells delicious. To me, it smells like strawberry milkshake, and is very similar to Original Source's Vanilla Milk and Raspberry shower gel. It lathers up well and leaves a subtle scent on your skin. The packaging is cute; I like the limited edition design.

After I was sent Iced Strawberry Dream to review, I went and purchased two more Treacle Moon shower gels: One Ginger Morning and Those Lemonade Days (They are currently on offer in Tesco for £1.99).

One Ginger Morning - I LOVE THIS! It smells like Starbursts, sherbet and fresh tree bark (It mostly smells like Starbursts, though). I can't say I'm surprised this is so delicious - Everything ginger is ;)

Those Lemonade Days - Lemon sherbet, mmm.

The packaging, the product and the price of these is all great. What's not to love?

*Iced Strawberry Dream is a PR sample, but One Ginger Morning and Those Lemonade Days were purchased by myself. I wanted to write about the Treacle Moon fans creating limited edition products because I think it is a great idea.

The Pink Cow Vanilla Biscuit shower gel

Price: £2.99 (Currently on offer at Boots for £2)

'The Pink Cow Vanilla Biscuit shower gel:

1. Please don't eat this product.... Its only for your skin only.
2. Tested on us not animals.
3. Suitable for vegetarians.
4. Our fragrance is allergen free.'

There are two things I look for in a shower gel and they are: To have a delicious scent and to lather well. Vanilla is my favourite scent so this definitely has the first quality, it smells amazing! Even if this shower gel didn't lather well, I think I would still buy it because the scent is that good. Luckily though, this does lather well. I'm sat here smelling yummy and feeling soft :)

Other fragrances include: Lemon Cheesecake, Strawberry Sundae, Coconut Creme and Mint Candy. I'm definitely going to re-purchase and try the other scents.
