Organic Surge Sale Purchases

I must admit, I hadn't heard much about Organic Surge before their current sale. However, I then started reading tweets about people stocking up on their favourite products at amazing prices, so decided to check them out! The fact that they're natural and organic persuaded me to place an order. I bought the Blissful Daily Moisturiser for £2.12 down from £8.49, and the Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser for £2.25 down from £8.99, both of which are still available to buy. I also used the code NEWDEL for free delivery! I actually wish I picked up the Daily Care Face Wash, too. First impressions of these two moisturisers are good. The packaging is nice, they smell great (Because of the lemon essential oil in the daily version, and the organic rose geranium essential oil in the intensive one. My mum has just smelt them and isn't keen, though), they sink into the skin quickly, and leave it feeling soft. I've only used them a couple of times so far, though, so these thoughts could change.


Have you bought anything in the Organic Surge sale? Or are you planning to? I was going to buy the brown sugar scrub for £8 down from £32, but can easily make one myself! I may try to, actually. If it goes well, I'll blog about the recipe!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream

I don't regulary moisturise, but when I do, I like to use an intense moisturiser, even though I have normal-oily skin. This is where The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream comes in. The cream is thick, feels like silk and leaves your skin incredibly moisturised. Although it's thick, it sinks in well and doesn't leave a greasy residue on the skin. I use this product at night, but you could use it during the day because of the factors I've just mentioned. The full price of this cream is £11, which I wouldn't pay myself (You guys know I'm not keen on paying over £10 for a beauty product!). I bought this when it was half price. The Body Shop regulary have offers on and codes floating around, so you can probably buy it for less, too.

Good Things Dream Cream Night Cream

Isn't the packaging beautiful? It's simple yet feminine. Although the Good Things range is primarily aimed at young skin, the packaging isn't tacky or childish, so also appeals to older women (well, my mum likes it anyway!).  The pot/tub is rounded at the bottom, which adds to the feminine touch.

The scent is not your standard sickly-sweet, citrusy scent (although I must admit, I do like a bit of that!), which is a Good Thing for this product (I couldn't help it!). I don't associate citrusy scents with moisturising night creams, so the subtle, understated fruity scent of fig and avocado suits the product well.

It does what a night cream should, and leaves my skin very moisturised and soft, without feeling greasy. Saying that, I've never come across a moisturiser that doesn't moisturise.
